Scars of Mirrodin contains 249 black-bordered cards. The set will build on some of the themes and mechanics introduced in the original Mirrodin block, and introduce several brand new game mechanics.
The cards will appeal to Magic players of all levels and collectors. They will also be very interesting for tournament players since the set will enter the Standard tournament format on its release.
